Eliane has a mixed background of French Canadian and Chilean. She was born in Montréal. She has been part of the artistic scene of the Québec industry for the past 12 years. Eliane has been interested in acting and films since the age of 13, and has been revealed to the public through the very popular show Ramdam, in which she played Kim Bellavance, a bright and energetic girl, for five seasons. Eliane is a self-taught actress but she never stops her training. She has attended numerous acting workshops with Danielle Fichaud and Jean-Pierre Bergeron. And currently, she has the great opportunity to be one of ten actors chosen across Canada to be part of the Actors Conservatory of the Canadian Film Center in Toronto.
Eliane has never stopped believing in her dream. She dedicated herself to her own projects. She travelled a lot, mostly to improve her english and spanish skills. She is a trilingual actress and now ready to go to the next step, the English market throughout Canada and the USA. She has already started on that path, getting one of the main parts in the movie The beautiful risk next to Shaun Benson. After that experience, she realized how important it was for her to be able to work in the two markets, to expand her horizons as an actress but also as a filmmaker.
Blessed with a talent of writing, Eliane holds a certificate in film writing from the University of Québec in Montréal. She wrote and produced the short film Douce Amère (Bittersweet) which has been screened in many festivals around the world and recently won The Best International Short Film at Willifest in New York City. Since she doesn't lack energy and passion, she is currently developing two bilingual feature films entitled How Could I be loved (English-French) and La Gloria (Spanish-French). She is also in pre-production of her second short film entitled Lost ones which will be shot in Montréal this winter.
